Cullen

Cullen Schlievert is a California lawyer specializing in the representation of venture capital funds, angel investors and emerging growth companies.

Cullen assists venture capital funds and other investors with investment transactions and portfolio company-related matters. Cullen advises emerging growth companies throughout the corporate life-cycle, including incorporation and founder matters, strategic advisory, general corporate and securities law matters, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions.

Cullen represents a wide variety of high-technology clients, and has a particular focus on disruptive technologies, crypto, web3, digital media, digital health, cleantech, SaaS, fintech, and cyber security.

He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he focused on international mergers and acquisitions and commercial transactions. Immediately prior to joining Thompson Legal Advisory Services, Cullen worked at Donahue Fitzgerald, LLP where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, counseling emerging growth companies, and corporate transactions. He joined the Thompson Legal Advisory Services team in March 2020.

Cullen received his J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2016. He graduated from the University of Arizona in 2013 with a M.A. and B.S. in accounting. He is admitted to practice law in California and the District of Columbia.

Outside of work, Cullen enjoys going for bike rides and walks with his wife and daughter, taking his dogs to the beach, and following all things Arizona Wildcat sports.
